A major point of debate is the treatment of Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong. Both Opposition Leader Kinnock and Social Democrat Paddy Ashdown question the prime minister about the British role in dealing with the refugees. After the question time, Mrs. Thatcher delivers a statement about her recent meeting with the European Council.
