Richard Fried presented his paper,"Truman, McCarthy and McCarthyism." Michael Belknap presented his paper, "Truman and the Smith Act Case." David Greenberg presented his paper, "Truman, the Press, and Civil Liberties." Robert Wolz chaired.
"Liberty and Security, Part II" was a panel of the 2011 Symposium, "The Civil Liberties Legacy of Harry S. Truman." It was held at the Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel.</description>

Participants included: Margaret Hoover, great-granddaughter of Herbert Hoover; Clifton Truman Daniel, grandson of Harry Truman; Luci Baines Johnson, daughter of Lyndon Johnson; and Susan Ford Bales, daughter of Gerald Ford. They responded to questions submitted by members of the audience.
"Living in the Presidential Fish Bowl: A Relative Look" was held at the Harry S. Truman Little White House in Key West, Florida.</description>
