Their is a backlog of over 408 million pages of classified government records waiting to be processed by the National Declassification Center. President Obama set a deadline in 2013 for reviewing these historic government records that date back as far as World War I. Mr. Carmichael illustrated his lecture with charts and responded to questions from members of the audience.
