      <description>Officials from the Natural Law Party and Reform Party officials supporting John Hagelin spoke to reporters and delegates to the Natural Law Party Convention about a decision to form a coalition to support Mr. Hagelin's candidacy. They spoke about the recent split in the Reform Party over Pat Buchanan's candidacy and the tactics of his faction, the legality of Mr. Buchanan's nomination, the need for and possibilities of a broad third party movement, and their prospects for success. They also answered questions from reporters on the convention floor.</description>
