      <title>White House Correspondents' Garden Brunch</title>
      <description>Celebrities, politicians, and business leaders were shown arriving and mingling at the 20th annual White House Correspondents' Garden Brunch, held before the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. The event was held to raise awareness for Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) and the Miss America Foundation's project to encourage women to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. The CURE Heroes Award was presented to Captain Patrick Horan, who received a head injury in Iraq. The brunch, hosted by Tammy Haddad, was held at Georgetown's Beall-Washington home, owned by businessman Mark Ein.</description>

      <description>A book party was held at the Jefferson Hotel for the publication of [Shooting from the Lip: The Life of Senator Al Simpson], written by Donald Hardy. Senator Simpson was shown mingling with the guests. Then Mr. Hardy, Senator Simpson's former press secretary and chief of staff, talked about writing the book and the total access that he had to Senator Simpson's papers. Senator Simpson also talked about the book and about his life. He told stories about the author, the late Senator Ted Kennedy, and about some of the guests, including former Vice President and Mrs. Cheney, former Secretary Mineta, Librarian of Congress Billington, and Representative Dingell.</description>

Mr. Bennett discussed his book with T. Alexander Aleinikoff, dean of the Georgetown Law Center. The event took place at the Georgetown Law Center.</description>
