      <title>Operations in Afghanistan</title>
      <description>Lieutenant General Adrian Bradshaw (British Army) briefed reporters on progress and transition in Afghanistan. He addressed the threat of insider attacks against coalition forces, saying the environment was safer and officials had devised a better system for identifying those threats. In addition, he said an investigation is still ongoing regarding an incident in Eastern Afghanistan which killed two Americans and three Afghan soldiers on September 30.</description>
