He called Afghan President Hamid Karzai's government "wholly corrupt," and cited examples of U.S. government spending projects that wind their way through a mostly corrupt bidding process by Afghan contractors.He also described his experiences as an embedded journalist with five National Guard units. Douglas Wissing is an independent journalist and author. He studied history and political science at Indiana University.
