Following his remarks Mr. Pape spoke about empirical research on terrorism and implications for military strategy. He was followed by a panel discussion on U.S. strategy in the Middle East.
This was a portion of the day-long conference, "Cutting the Fuse: Beyond the War on Terrorism," held in the Capitol Visitor's Center Auditorium.</description>
