They also talked about the history of the companies and of the publishing business. They were interviewed at BookExpo America 2009 in the Jacob K. Walker and Company was co-founded by the late Samuel Walker and his wife Beth. Walker and Company has remained an entirely independent, family-owned firm since it was founded in 1959.</description>
