      <title>The Economics of the Movie Industry</title>
      <description>A symposium was held on the impact of the American movie industry on the U.S. economy. After a video address from Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and remarks from Representative Rangel, Mr. Lynton gave the opening address and Mr. Smith gave the keynote address. A graduate film division presentation by students called "Why I Am a Filmmaker" was then shown. Senator Feinstein made opening remarks before the panel discussion moderated by Ron Grover.
 
  The event was held in the auditorium of the co-sponsor, the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture.</description>
