      <description>A memorial service for John Kenneth Galbraith was held in Memorial Church in Harvard Yard, Cambridge. Many dignitaries and family members eulogized him and praised his life and career in public service and teaching. 
 
 Galbraith, an economist, author, presidential adviser, and former ambassador to India died April 29, 2006, at Mount Auburn Hospital at age 97. He was a Paul M. Warburg professor emeritus of economics at Harvard University.</description>

The author covered a variety of subjects, from his childhood with nine siblings, his first [New York Times] bestseller, his founding of the [National Review], and his life as a family man. Mr. Buckley took telephone calls from listeners throughout the program.
 
 William F. Buckley Jr. was the founder of [National Review] and was the host of the Emmy Award-winning television show "Firing Line." He authored several books including, [God and Man At Yale; Nearer, My God: An Autobiography of Faith]; and [Nuremberg: The Reckoning].</description>

On behalf of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, Mr. Bramwell presented William F. Buckley with the C.H. Hoeflich Lifetime Achievement Award. Buckley was ISI's first president. After the presentation Mr. Buckley gave an acceptance speech.</description>
