 Valerie Biden-Owens was interviewed on the convention floor about the life of her brother, Senator Joe Biden. A video clip of an interview with Senator Biden on August 8, 2006, was shown. 
 
 Howard Mortman reported by remote video from New Media Strategies headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, about what bloggers were saying on the Internet.
 
 Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick's and Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer's speeches at the convention the previous day were shown.
 
 An ad known as "Tiny" was shown that was released that day by Senator McCain's 2008 presidential nomination campaign.
 
 McCain campaign spokesperson Rosario Marin was interviewed about the progress of the campaigns. Jonathan Alter was interviewed on the convention floor about media coverage of the campaigns.
 
 Josh Earnest was interviewed on the convention floor about the theme of the convention that night, "Securing America's Future" and the roll call votes.
 
 Delegates were interviewed and scenes of the activity on the floor, and of Senator Obama's airplane landing, were shown.</description>
