Mr. Edwards describes Murrow's coverage of World War II, his two programs "See It Now," and "Person to Person," and his reporting on the anti-Communist hearings led by Senator Joseph McCarthy. Also speaking at the event was Richard C. Hottelet, a former correspondent for CBS News who worked in London and Berlin during World War II and was trained by Mr. Murrow.
