      <title>Private Company Management of Public Schools</title>
      <description>Witnesses testified on the efficacy of private management for public schools. Mr. Schmidt and Ms. McGriff proposed to set up a national school management structure. Mr. Golle discussed his companies' experience in running public schools privately. In his testimony, Mr. Amprey emphasized the need for systemic change to improve schools. Ms. Rosenberg mentioned that a partnership has existed for many other services that schools use. Private companies are currently running public schools in Minneapolis, Miami Beach, and Baltimore.</description>
