      <title>Lincoln Prize Ceremony</title>
      <description>The Lincoln and Soldiers Institute at Gettysburg College presented the annual Lincoln Prize awards. The Lincoln Prize is awarded for the finest scholarly work in English on President Abraham Lincoln, the American Civil War, or a related subject. This year's recipients were British historian Richard Carwardine who wrote [Lincoln], and [The Papers of Ulysses S. Grant's] editor John Y. Simon.
 
 Richard Gilder and Lewis Lehrman are co-founders of the Lincoln Prize Award.</description>
