      <title>Book Discussion on [Stand for the Best]</title>
      <description>Thomas Bloch talked about [Stand for the Best: What I Learned after Leaving My Jobs as CEO of H&amp;R Block to Become a Teacher and Founder of an Inner City Charter School]. In his book, Mr. Bloch recounted his decision to leave his position at the company after nineteen years to become a math teacher in an inner-city school in Kansas City. He would later co-found the University Academy, a charter school in Kansas City. Following his remarks, Mr. Block responded to questions from the audience.
 
 Thomas Bloch is the former CEO of H&amp;R Block and is the son of the company's founder. Mr. Bloch is the co-founder of the Youth Service Alliance of Greater Kansas City and founding board member of the Kansas City Foundation for Higher Education. He is currently a middle-school math teacher and president of the board at the University Academy.</description>
