      <title>Impact of Fort Hood Shootings</title>
      <description>Participants spoke about recent shootings at Fort Hood, Texas and how the incident might affect Muslims in America. The suspect in the shooting, Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, was charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted murder. He was an American-born Muslim of Palestinian descent, who had on a number of occasions expressed radical beliefs. Following their remarks panelists responded to questions from the audience.</description>
