Among other musical offerings, No Labels Co-Chair Jon Huntsman's daughters sang "God Bless America." The task force would devise recommendations on how to address rising debt and and spending. Senators Voinovich and Lieberman and Representatives Cooper and Wolf talked about their bills (S. 1056 and H.R. 1557 - Securing America's Future Economy [SAFE] Commission Act), which would establish a national commission to examine U.S. tax and entitlement systems and present long-term solutions to place the U.S. on a course that is fiscally sustainable. Other topics included the criteria for an effective commission.</description>
