      <description>Brendan Johnson, the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Dakota and chair of the Attorney General's Advisory Subcommittee on Native American Issues, talked about drug abuse, particularly synthetic drugs, within tribal communities. During much of the session he responded to questions from Native American youth on issues such as prevalence of sexual assaults among tribal communities, juvenile crimes and prosecution, as well as drug and alcohol issues.</description>

      <title>Senator Johnson Return to South Dakota</title>
      <description>At a homecoming rally Senator Tim Johnson and his wife at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, Senator Johnson spoke publicly for the first time since suffering a brain injury in December 2006. In sometimes humorous remarks he acknowledged his slurred speech and thanked his supporters. At the end of the event he received a birthday cake decorated for his 60th birthday while the crowd sang "Happy Birthday to You."</description>
