They talked about the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) enforcement role in addressing privacy and the internet, as well as how it reached settlements with Google and Facebook and other companies on privacy issues. The FTC also is looking at cramming - unauthorized or deceptive charges on consumers' telephones bills. Recently the FTC recommended that Congress write new consumer privacy legislation.</description>
