Mr. Smith served as his press secretary, and gives an insider's view of the workings of the House of Representatives. Mr. Smith spoke about his book during a book party in the Eisenhower Room of the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C. Also speaking were Sen. John McCain, Mr. Ornstein, Rep. J.D. Hayworth, and Speaker of the House Rep. Dennis Hastert, while Mr. Aiken introduced each speaker. Other friends and the son and widow of former Representative John J.
