      <title>Book Discussion on [Rescued from the Reich]</title>
      <description>Mr. Rigg talked about his book [Rescued from the Reich:  How One of Hitler's Soldiers Saved the Lubavitcher Rebbe], published by Yale University Press. The author told the story of Rabbi Joseph Schneersohn, head of the Hasidic Lubavitcher movement, who escaped to American in 1940. Mr. Rigg described the anti-Semitism of numerous U.S. officials and the controversial theology of Rabbi Schneersohn. Following the presentation, the author answered questions from members of the audience.</description>

      <title>Book Discussion on [Hitler's Jewish Soldiers]</title>
      <description>Mr. Rigg talked about his book, [Hitler's Jewish Soldiers:  The Untold Story of Nazi Racial Laws and Men of Jewish Descent in the German Military], published by University Press of Kansas. In the book, Mr. Rigg explores the roles and experiences of people of Jewish or partially Jewish heritage in the German military during World War II. It was estimated up to 150,000 Germans of Jewish descent served in the war. Mr. Rigg also talked about his life, experiences, and reasons for writing the book, including his own German-Jewish ancestry. Following his presentation, he responded to questions from the audience.</description>
