In the case, Ms. Paula Jones asserts that she was sexually harassed by then Governor Clinton in a Little Rock hotel room while attending a conference. During the arguments, the president's lawyer, Mr. Bennett, argued for a delay in the case and that it should not go forward until President Clinton finishes his second term in office. The Court eventually denied the request.
