      <title>Book Discussion on [Game Change]</title>
      <description>A panel discussion was held on the film adaptation of John Heilemann and Mark Halperin's book on the 2008 presidential election, [Game Change: Obama and the Clintons, McCain and Palin, and the Race of a Lifetime]. The panelists included the authors of the book, the screenwriter and the director who produced the film, and Steve Schmidt, who was a chief strategist for the Republican 2008 presidential campaign. The panel was moderated by Maggie Haberman and Mike Allen. The panelists also responded to questions from members of the audience. The film, which focused on the selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as the vice presidential running mate for Senator John McCain, was previewed the previous evening in New York City and at the Newseum. It would premiere on HBO the next evening.
This event at the Newseum was sponsored by Politico, HBO, and the Motion Picture Association of America.</description>
