      <title>Robert Kennedy and the Struggle for Racial Justice</title>
      <description>Patricia Sullivan talked about Robert Kennedy and the civil rights movement of the 1960s. She spoke about his early encounters with racism and the evolution of his politics and principles. Robert Kennedy served as U.S. Attorney General during his brother's administration, and in the U.S. Senate from 1965 to '68, when he was assassinated while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination.
This event took place at the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research at Harvard University.</description>

      <title>Sirhan Sirhan and the Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy</title>
      <description>Shortly after midnight on June 5, 1968, U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy was shot at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. He died the next day. Sirhan Sirhan was arrested and convicted of the murder. To mark the 44th Anniversary of the assassination, the National Law Enforcement Museum hosted a panel discussion on Sirhan and the impact of the assassination on the nation. Participating are former Los Angeles police officer Arturo Placencia, who arrested Sirhan, Evan Thomas, author of [Robert Kennedy: His Life], and Steven Hughes, a Special Agent in the Dignitary Protection Division of the U.S. Secret Service.</description>

      <title>Robert F. Kennedy Tribute</title>
      <description>A tribute was held to honor the life and legacy of the late Robert F. Kennedy. His daughter Kerry Kennedy and Rep. Edward Markey hosted a reception at the Capital to commemorate what would have been his 80th birthday the next Sunday, November 20th. Family members, members of Congress and other dignitaries gathered to pay tribute to the late Robert F. Kennedy. Guests who gave brief tributes included:  his brother Sen. Edward Kennedy, Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, CNN political analyst Jeff Greenfield, and Robert Kennedy's former press secretary Frank Mankiewicz.
