      <description>Panels of representatives from Republican and Democratic presidential campaigns analyzed the Iowa caucuses. Representatives from the Hunter, McCain, and Huckabee campaigns participated in the Republican forum. Strategists from the Dodd, Obama, Biden, Clinton, Richardson, and Edwards campaigns participated in the Democratic forum immediately following. The panelists discussed plans for Iowa and their candidates' positions on issues considered relevant to Iowa voters. They also responded to questions from members of the audience. Chris Dorsey moderated.
 
 
 This was the seventh in a series of "Cookies and Conversation" forums about Iowa's political process co-sponsored by IowaPolitics.com and Drake University. Audience members were treated to free cookies at the event held in Levitt Hall in Old Main on the Drake campus.</description>

 He delivered his speech on the same spot where John F. Kennedy began his presidential campaign in 1960. In his speech, titled "Rekindling The Flame: A Call for a New American Patriotism," he proposed elevating the Corporation for National Service, which runs AmeriCorps, to cabinet-level status; expanding the size of AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps; establishing a "Rapid Response Reserve Corps" to work alongside first responders in a crisis; offer tax credits to employers who offer paid time off for community service; and give seniors education grants as incentives to serve.</description>
