Former Republican presidential candidate Alexander talked about the presidential nominating process. He said that the primaries this year "allowed the smallest number of candidates the least chance to get their message across and the least number of voters to participate" in the process. He advocated deregulating the primary process, pointing out that he spent $1 million just to comply with federal regulations and that he will not be reimbursed for up to three years. After his prepared remarks, he took questions from the audience.
