Mr. Ballard also talked about the history of the depiction of blacks in film. Various clips from the 1920s films were shown as well as a clip of "I Spy." Mr. Ballard was interviewed at the Melvin B.
Political News Review

Mr. Todd discussed the governor's race in Oklahoma and how the democratic incumbent looks like a shoe-in for another term. At the end of the second quarter of political fundraising and numbers from various politicians would be released. In Florida, Scott Maddox apparently was vindicated for the missing $900,000 in the State Democratic Party Fund. A miscode in finance led to the apparent misplacement of $900,000.
