In a rare Saturday session, the House of Representatives debated and passed four foreign aid bills. Three of those bills provide aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, and the fourth is a package of national security measures, including sanctions on Russia and Iran, as well as forcing China to divest from TikTok or face a ban of the app in the U.S. These measures would next go the Senate for consideration. Also in this session, lawmakers failed to passed a suspension bill concerning southern border security. This measure was debated earlier in the week.
